Are the BeogradPC hardware tests free?

Yes. Every mouse, keyboard, monitor, microphone, camera, gamepad and audio test is free to use in a supported web browser.

Do I need to install software or create an account?

No. The tests run directly in the browser and do not require an installation, extension or user account.

Are microphone and camera recordings uploaded?

No. Camera and microphone data are processed locally in the browser. The test pages do not upload your recordings.

Which browsers work with these online hardware tests?

Current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Opera and Brave support most tests. Hardware access can vary by browser, operating system and device.

Why does the browser ask for camera or microphone permission?

Browsers require explicit permission before a website can access a camera or microphone. Permission is needed only while you run the selected test.

Can I run the tests on a phone or tablet?

Yes. Camera, microphone, display and audio checks work on many phones and tablets. Keyboard and gamepad results depend on connected hardware and browser support.

How accurate are browser-based polling rate and frame rate measurements?

They are useful diagnostic measurements, but results can also reflect browser load, operating-system scheduling, power settings and other active applications.
